Team Details
- Team schedules vary depending on what level of team it is. Our most competitive teams are termed "Premiere Travel" followed by "Coast League" teams, and then our Swells Program.
- A layout of each team's schedule is noted below however for more specific information please see the Programs Tab and select the various program pages
Rise Volleyball
Team Levels
At Rise we have varying levels of teams that carry with them different time, financial, AND COMPETITIVE responsibilities.
Here is an outline of those teams and what is included:
Swells
Swells is our Local Developmental program. Meant for players ages 9-13 who may be just getting into team volleyball or not quite yet ready for the commitment of the more Competitive Travel Teams. Swells teams are convenient for scheduling and also for playing with friends. The goal is to develop a love for the game and gain a fundamental understanding of how to play. Teams are not formed with the idea of "Tiering" the talent. We take into account girls who want to play together, age group and availability when putting the teams together. - Great fit for beginner to intermediate players in the 6th-8th grade range.
- Season is 5 months. January through May
- practices are twice a week for a total of 3 hours
- curriculum is produced by Rise Director Kris Gullatt and centered around development of all players
- all competitions are local and so extra travel is involved.
- schedule and financial commitment that is easier to navigate for families just getting into club volleyball.
11u-14U Coast Teams
11u, 12u, 13u and 14u Teams all competing in the Coast League

| Schedule | 5 month season. Practice begins in December and runs through April. Tournaments January through May. Roughly 1 per month with some multi day tournaments |
| Training | 3-4 hours of team practice per week. Access to positional practices with Rise VBC Master Coaches. |
| Coaching Staff | Head Coach and Assistant Coaches. These head coaches all have experience at high levels of club, intercollegiate, and high school volleyball. |
| Competition Level | Teams compete locally in our Coast Volleyball League created to bring high level competition to Ventura and Santa Barbara without the travel. |
| Athletic Training | Access to Performance Training located within our own facility. Training packages and convenient training times give us an added bonus at Rise for players who are serious about their development. |
| Pricing | Monthly payments of approximately $325/mo for the duration of the 5 month season. Initial sign up fee when joining a team which includes uniform. For more info on pricing check out our Pricing Info page under Programs. |
| Uniform Package | 2 Jerseys, 2 Practice Shirts, Spandex, Team Jacket and Shorts |
| Rise Tribe | Being a part of Rise Tribe is being part our tradition of not only superb training, success on the court and development of the players. But to create an positive environment for young people to be a part of. The easiest path to success and development is to surround yourself with people who create a culture that are in line with your own values and goals. Thats what Rise Tribe is all about! 12u-14u Premiere Travel Teams

| Training | 4 hours of team practice per week. Team and Positional practices with Rise VBC Master Coaches. |
| Coaching Staff | Head Coach and Assistant Coaches. These head coaches have our highest level of experience and expertise coaching high levels of club, intercollegiate, and high school volleyball. |
| Competition Level | USA Volleyball Southern CA league. Some 14u teams may compete Nationally. Team decision |
| Athletic Training | Access to Performance Training located within our own facility. Training packages and convenient training times give us an added bonus at Rise for players who are serious about their development. |
| Pricing | Monthly payments of approximately $375/mo for the duration of the 7 month season. Initial sign up fee when joining a team which includes uniform. For more info on pricing check out our Pricing Info page under Programs. |
